How can I change my AOE2 account?

If you're playing it through a game pass subscription or even if you purchase the game, that licence is attached to that particular account, if you use another account to try to access the game, it won't let you, because it will ask you to log in to the account that owns the game.

I have Game Pass on my main account. I download game from my main account. But in first opening of game, I select my second account. And I want sign as my main account.

I'm having this issue but for my own account. There are no parental settings or privacy settings that I can find that should restrict this. This wasn't an issue of AoEE but it is an issue on AoE2E.

EDIT/SOLUTION

I went through the other xbox apps on my PC and made sure I was signed into all of them - most importantly the Xbox Console Companion. After that I could sign into Xbox Live through AoE2E with no problem

3. Microsoft will send a security code to the new number or email to confirm. Enter that code when prompted and then select Next.
