How can I cancel recurring subscription on an account I can no longer access?

If you can't gain access the account to manage the subscription, then the only other option is to have the banking institution cancel the card and block the Microsoft transaction. Unfortunately, that is your only option if you cannot access the account.

I'm afraid that if you can no longer access the account, your only other option would be to cancel the Credit Card. You don't need to close down the credit card account. It shouldn't be possible for Microsoft to bill the account after this as the replacement card will have a new 16 digit number.
