    How can I add a new profile adress for my Xbox account when I am not in the US?


    I am trying to change my Gamertag since yesterday. As I need to pay for a second name change it requires me to add a profile adress (though my MS, not my Xbox, account already has my full adress) and when it asks me to do so it does not let me change the country/region setting, making me unable to pick germany and thus unable to add a profile adress and pay for the Gamertag change.

    I have attempted to re-add my adress in my MS account and even went as far as making the country/region select input box enabled per html manipulation and then picking germany, which made the website crash, giving the 403 (forbidden) error in the web console and telling me on the website that an 402 (bad gateway) error occured in response to this request.

    Now, what do I need to do to make this work? Or can you help me out?

    Can you provide a screenshot of the page where you can't switch it from USA?

    Okay, so:

    1st of all, I do not have an Xbox and play on PC. I have tried to change my Gamertag per the xbox.com website.

    2nd of all, I have been living in germany for my whole life and thus never created an Xbox account within/for another country/region. My country has always been germany for my Microsoft Account.

    My address also did not change since I made the account.

    3rd of all, under the "Ihre Informationen" (engl. "your info") section my region is clearly defined as Germany.

    In the address book the correct address and region are also specified.

    Thus the post by ChoyPax24 is of no help, sadly.

    Despite it all, I am asked to add a profile address to my Xbox account and in the menu where I have to enter the address I can not change the country/region to germany. It is stuck on "United States", any input for this selection field is disabled as it can be seen in the HTML.

    Nice Idea, but it doesn't work. I tried to add the hotmail-adress to the google-account, so it says something (in German) it is "already a registered domaine", what ever that means. And when I tried to add the google-adress to the hotmail account, it says,
    it's already in use. To make a new (third) account make no sense.

    Can I somehow add one adress to the other in the xbox-app itself (xbox konsole-begleiter)?
