How can I access a backwards compatible game with my current profile?

I recently purchased Lost Planet 2 on my Xbox one through the game store. I have the physical disc but my Xbox is old and doesn't always register the discs I put in it. Upon booting the game up though it keeps asking me to sign in to my old Xbox 360 profile which I cannot access because I do not have access to Xbox live and because the email associated with that profile is most likely no longer in service. Even then I wouldn't be able to remember the email since I haven't used it since school.

What's weird is that I was able to play the game previously with my current Xbox One profile. I remember that I had to restart the game entirely because my Xbox 360 profile was not (and still isn't) on the Xbox One and as such my previous progress had not been transferred to my new profile. But now the game keeps asking me to sign into my old profile or to play without signing in and not being able to save any of my progress. I just want to use my current profile but have no idea what I need to do to bypass this confusing situation I find myself in. Any assistance in this regard would be much appreciated.

Every time I try to play the game it goes through the usual title cards and credits but a notification appears on the screen that says I am disconnected from Xbox Live. Which I don't have so that makes sense. Then when I press start to play the game the old Xbox 360 profile select screen appears and displays our old 360 profiles. I click on my profile and after a moment of loading an error message pops up saying

"Xbox Live

Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

But when I go to download it I can't because I no longer have access to the needed information to sign into that Microsoft account to verify what I need to verify so that I can download the profile.

Yes, that's correct. You'll be needing to sign in all the profiles or account in your console.
