    Hot spot not connecting xbox one with dhcp error code


    My son has been using cricket hotspot for over a year to play his xbox one. He has never had issues until today. His hotspot would not connect and it pops up an error code saying cannot connect to DHCP server. Can someone please help me. But the house regular internet works but lags, which is why he uses a hot spot.

    Just to confirm, your son's Xbox connects fine to your home Wi-Fi with no issue? It only happens to hotspot, right?

    What device is he using for hotspot?

    Where is your Xbox failing to connect? Is it connecting to the Hot spot ok, and getting an IP address, but can't connect to Xbox Live? Or, is it not even getting connected to the hot spot at all?

    Hi i have problems with my Xbox one .i dont have a router box i use hot spot and works fine till now its still working on my phone. So i know its not the net ive factory reset my xbox . Keep getting DHCP cant connect . Then its says all good connected
