    HORRIBLE Texture problems in Gears4. Not loading and multiclored


    SO I just got gears 4...and I love it! it runs smooth and there aren't any problems to speak of, except one. As I play the campaign it almost seems as if the textures start to disappear or just not load any more.

    For example I may turn around and get Marcus with a pink bandana, or I may get glaring little spots that trigger the bloom effect and blind me.

    And even on walls where I can see the same texture underlay pattern over and over.

    For reference I have an RTX 2080 and an Intel I7 4790K @4GHZ also with 16gb RAM

    Any ideas? its kind of ruining the gameplay for me.

    Have you checked for Windows updates and/or driver updates for the video card on the NVidia site?
    All of my drivers were just updated and reinstalled.

    Hi there

    That would be something to try and trouble shoot, Have you tried the following troubleshooter? https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-titles/troubleshoot-gears-of-war-4-windows-10 I
    would also suggest trying to fiddle around the settings if it meets the minimal requirements.
    Hi, yes I have looked at that list and messed with settings, and neither have worked. The problem is odd, in that as I come closer the textures patch, but in game I may be right next to whatever is missing the texture

    Some files could be corrupt if that hardware supports the game. You could try turning down some of the graphics settings to see if that makes a difference or a re-install could correct corrupted files.
