    Last year I brought my Canadian bought Xbox to Norway and when i plugged it in the powercord blew up, I immidiatley bought a New Power cord and it worked great in Canada, thsi year before returning to Norway for Christmas i went to the Source and bought
    a Power adapter/Power redistributer which they assured me would work. Guess what! it F`!kn Did not so now i here again without a Power bar and have spent 120+ dollars on Power bars over the last year. this is seariously uncool, i have a Sony Playstatin
    that Works perfectly in any country i have used it in. im a student and i can barely pay rent let alone keep spending Money on Power cords.
    Microsotf Xbox One is used universally so its pretty stupid they cant make apower bar that Works for more than one country.

    Because the power supply is inside the console the cable is just a standard power cable so it is absolutely fine to use with whatever piece of electronics you have.

    Not wanting to do it is just as nonsensical and paranoid as not wanting to use the USB cable you got with your Samsung phone with your Sony one. There's nothing proprietary about them.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity on getting a new power cord. You should be able to purchase this accessory through any certified reseller of Xbox products including gaming stores and the like but you might want to check on their site. The
    Xbox One X and S have the same kind of power supply so if you find one of those you should be good.

    I think if it is the same pkug and it pass the same amount of electricity you are set, I never tried that so do it at your own risk.

    I would recommend you try GameStop/EB Games/Planet X (or check GameStop.com to before you head to your local store) or look for one at Amazon.com.

    Where are you located?
    Xbox Series S supports voltage between 110V-240V and 2.3A (You can double check this at the back)

    It seems that the power cord that you're using can damage the console in the future if the console receives that extra 10V or the extra 4A

    When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:



    • Step 1 ----click on Contact us
    • Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
    • Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

      Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
