Horrible input lag on Xbox One X

I was playing games fine, the next morning, I got up and tried playing and the controls feel like absolute trash - clunky and clumsy. I tried doing a hard reset on the console, resetting controller settings, updating the console controller, charging controller (elite series 2), *lugging controller into console via USB (helped some but not sol changing to a different "new style" wireless controller, resetting the modem. Nothing seems to be working to fix the problem.

As of yesterday, there was a controller update available. Things have seemed to improve some, but still clunky and broken. Any ideas?

Try to link the controller to a phone or PC, after that link it back to the console

If that doesn't solve the situation let me know if this happens with installed games or cloud games

You can also check the settings on the controller and check the response curve on it, sometimes that helps

Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

I can't even finish a match it is so laggy. I dont think the lag was as bad with my xbox. the xbox one x is horrible with lag.

never played it on 360, but there seems to be alot of input lag, aiming is horrible

Are you using wifi or wired connection?

It's completely unplayable for the person not hosting, nausea inducing actually. There's horrible input lag and the video gets laggy and choppy like a powerpoint presentation.
