Horizon 4 PC issues

Hi,

I purchased the Horizon 4 Ultimate edition bundle via the Xbox store on my PC but I've been experiencing a few issues, hopefully someone could point me in the right direction.

The account I purchased the game with on my PC is the same as my account on my Xbox but for some reason it doesn't realize I already own the game and wants to charge me again in order to play the game on my console. Presumably I'd also be unable to access
my progress from my PC save either? The account I purchased it with is the same as the account I use on my console.

My Windows 10 version has also failed to load in the DLC that comes with the Ultimate edition, it doesn't recognize that I have the VIP status and doesn't provide the rewards that come with it, and I'm also missing a car pack. I can see that it has successfully
installed to my PC but is nowhere to be found in the game.

Lastly, on certain screens such as on startup, after a race and in the character customization screen, the game lags massively and takes a long time to load into the next screen. Every other aspect of the game runs completely smoothly but it's in these areas
it grinds to a complete halt for a few minutes before I'm finally able to progress.

Cant join clubs or make them on pc.

You don't need Gold for a Forza Horizon 4 Club. I was able to join a Forza Horizon 3 club aswell on pc. And on PC Gold doesn't exist

As to your first question about finding it on the console. If you go to My games and apps>ready to install forza horizon 4 should show there to install.

Let me know what you find for this issue then we go to the next.

The slow loading transitions seem to have been resolved for now. I updated my graphics card drivers and since then it's been OK.

 

And the DLC content has been added, I just wasn't far enough into the game it seems.

The only issue now is getting my console to realize I already own the game.

I would suggest looking over our article on how to
Troubleshoot problems with Xbox Play Anywhere Games. On there you can find common issues and ways to solve them.

For basic Troubleshooting on the Xbox I recommend a
power cycle and also
remove and re-add your profile from the Xbox.

Also on your PC, I would recommend you log out and log back into the Xbox App.

You can go to
https://account.xbox.com/mygames and sign in to the account in question and make sure you see FH4 there.
