    Horde Speedruns use or not discuss


    Hi, if you are reading this you might be familiar with horde speedruns. If not, be aware. I did not know about this until others enlightened me on the matter. Thing is, people are doing this to save time and level up quick. I understand this, but I feel
    it uses an exploit in the game to do so. It relies on the scout class sitting in a certain position with 2 decoys.

    The positon of the fabricator allows the scout to collect ALL the power without moving. This power is is utilised for hammer strikes. The other classes, are engineer, 2 heavies and 1 soldier for the hammer strikes. This is done on the map Foundation. The
    heavy use 2 turrets after wave 4-5 to the left and right of the fountain spawn. Engineer keeps the turrets working.

    Sure it gets the game done quick, but takes out the fighting as you are blasting the enemy with the hammer.

    Feeling a bit awkward and silly doing this, but I went along with a speedrun. I suggest not using this and just play the game normally. Developers would wish us to use the game properly and win without this nonsense. What do you think?

    Title says it all. What about this game is gonna make you want to buy it? New particular weapon, map, Horde 2.0, campaign? Discuss! Also, feel free to add me for some Horde 2.0 Horde Speedruns use or not discuss :D

    Horde mode

    UE does not have Horde mode. If you use backwards compatibility to play Gears 2 or 3, you can access Horde that way Horde Speedruns use or not discuss :) I play it all the time on my One.

    I used to watch speedrunning videos and vaguely knew the path. If speedrunners use it, it must be fast enough for casual gamers to use too with plenty of time left!
