Hoping to change gamertag for free based off of support/case

After speaking with the Xbox support agent, I was told to contact the enforcement team after one of my friends accidentally used my free gamertag switch on my new account without my permission and I was about to change it in a few days. To avoid the
$10 charge, I was going to be told a way to deal with my situation. Thank you : )

There is no one here that can help you with this.

Even enforcement would not be able to help you with this unless your friend changed it to something that was inappropriate and the enforcement team forcefully changed your gamertag. At which point you could try and do a case review at the enforcement teams

If your friend did not change it to something inappropriate and your gamer tag was not forcefully changed by the enforcement team then honestly there is nothing that you can do.

You have to keep in mind that you are responsible for your account at ALL times.
