    Home Xboxes Game Sharing


    My wife and I are having issues with game sharing. We have an Xbox one x in the living room and an Xbox one in the bedroom. I have a gold account and buy all the games while she just uses an old silver account I've had in the past to play casually. We don't
    have specific xboxes we play on, one will just play in the living room and the other one will go to the bedroom. I don't want to buy the same game twice so I set up the Xbox in the bedroom as my home Xbox and set up the Xbox in the living room. As her home
    Xbox.

    The issue is she can play all of my games on the Xbox in the bedroom without having my account signed in but when she wants to play a game in the living room she has to sign in my account (hard for me to play a game in the bedroom when I am signed into the
    living room Xbox).

    I thought game sharing would allow her account to play games on either Xbox. Am I mistaken or has anybody else had this issue?

    home xbox setting is for the home not to share games with others outside of the home, sharing credentials is also against the terms and leads to a ban.

    Game sharing like this is against the code pf conduct. Home Xbox was designed to share your Live and games on your Xbox, within your home environment.

    Game Sharing is actually against the terms of use.

    The home console setting was only meant to share the games within your own household on your console not to share with your friends.
