Home Xbox ... want to spy on my second Xbox linked to home box

That's only a small part of why I don't want Kinect in my home.

I may not be important enough to spy on, but the fact that it could happen is enough for me to not want it in my home.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We recommend to set up
home console on your profile. Also, you will want to
add him to your family.

To set home console on your profile:

1. Go to settings
2. then highlight personalization
3. go down to home console
4. on the bottom, make sure the box says remove my home Xbox. If it says make this my home Xbox hit a then confirm the change.

I have done as you surgested.

The box says 'Remove this as my home Xbox"

I have hit this, but then i get a message sayibg

'Stop using this as your home X BOX?'

'If you stop using this as your home X Box people wont be able to play your downloaded games'.

What am I doing wrong or just not getting here?

Well I mean I've tried everything your probably gunna tell me to do as for the making my xbox home it just renders when I click the checkmark box to make it my xbox home renders for another 30 seconds then uncheck Mark's it and it don't make it my xbox home it's definitely not just my me as this has been happening for 3 days now

Thanks for reaching out. We see you are having issue with
home console. We recommend tying to change the setting. If you don't switch it to another console it will not use a switch. Go to the settings select the box to remove home Xbox. Then wait few seconds and make home Xbox again.

You do not have to be signed into the home console for the profiles on that box to be able to use your Live Gold features and play the digital games on your account.

But if the profile on the second console wants to play online and your games then you have to be signed into that console with your Profile.

We have this setup at my house. The main issue that it causes is when my son wants to play on our "second" console and I'm playing something on the home console. He would have to log me into the second console and that logs me out of the home console.


Usually My Kids will play games on the Home console and I'll play on the Second one.
