    Hi.

    Ok so my last question is now a locked thread. It contains the basic info about my problem & set up.

    I’ve set the xbox one profile with live gold access as the home xbox one. This should now open up live gold to the other (family) profiles. Except it hasn’t. Each profile is still being show content as if they don’t have a live gold account.

    The profiles are also unable to access online/multiplayer options?

    Thoughts?

    trying to share my gold and it wont work

    1. Sign into your Xbox that you intend to use the Non-Gold profile with and set to the Home Xbox.

    2. Sign into your other Non-home Xbox with your Gold Account.

    The idea is that the console that you use non gold profiles on should be set to the home Xbox. This way you can sign into any other Xbox with the gold account and access gold while the other non gold profiles access gold from the home Xbox.

    home console profile     on one Xbox One at a time. You can set up Xbox Live Gold on one of your son's accounts and have that account set up as the home console profile on the other son's Xbox One. This will allow you to pay for only one subscription, but still
    have both of them have access to Xbox Live Gold. This feature allows them to share games as well. The article we provided will help you set up the home console profile. Be sure to let us know the results!

    It's because You must have Xbox Live Gold or one profile which is set as home console must have Xbox Live Gold.

    you can't move profiles to another profile. one email per gamertag. if it's an xbox one then one person needs gold and to set the home option. if it's a 360 you would have to have 2 accounts with gold to access the gold features

    Hi, ok i've tried the power cycle and no change.

    Can you clarify what you mean by "try and remove and read the profile to the Xbox"?

    Son's account with gold is set as home.

    Before I try this step, might the fact that my son is under 13 have an effect on this process. When I look at the subscriptions, subscribed under the live gold billing dates & payment method is a small ! in a triangle
    under the payment method. What problem is this indicating?

    Do I need to swap the live gold subscription to my account and gamer tag and then set the xbox home to me?
