home xbox game share not working

    MY friend and I both have our xbox accounts gameshared with each other but despite my account working his xbox, his account was signed out of my xbox and I had to re enter his password, and now his games and live shared on his account isnt working on my xbox despite his account still being connected to my home xbox, there is no more switches left on his account so i cant remove his account off my home xbox and re add it, I've tried to remove my account and re add too so if it worked which it didn't and i have even restarted and power cycled my xbox to no avail.

    Follow these steps to set up "Home Sharing" https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

    The quick version is to Set each others Xbox as "Home" For the Gamertag.

    The Gamertag with gold will "Share" with the accounts on that xbox. But that gold only works on THAT system for non gold accounts.

    What it sounds like is her xbox live gold subscription has run out if you were sharing her gold subscription. you may want to check to make sure that there is still an active live subscription on the account

    contact her fyi just because you have her account doesn't mean she cannot change it at anytime

    Also you shouldn't be doing anything on her account she has to do it
