Home Xbox association?

I tried to reset my series x while keeping games and appa and it said something about not being able to remove home xbox associations and i continued anyways, any idea what this means? Everything was still there when i went through the reset process and after that happened i went to reset it again and the message disnt pop back up like the first time it just went through the normal reset and keep games like before, so what is home xbox associations?? Thanks

The Home Xbox association is referring to the Home setting. So if you had the console set as your Home before you did the reset, you would just want to check that it's still set as your Home.

What do you mean check the home setting? And I’m the only user on the Xbox when it said that.

Press the Xbox button to go home, whoever's home shows up then you know who's profile is associated with that controller.

Oh, you only need to set it as home Xbox once. As long as you will not set it as home Xbox on a different console, the association will just remain on that console.
