Home XBox account query

I've done a search of the forum and had what the Mrs would describe as a 'man look' for the answer to my question. I'm sure it has been asked before, but cannot find an answer to it, so please don't shoot me down for asking.

In my house, there are 2 consoles. Mine, which is primary, and my sons, which feeds off of mine. So, i have the Gold and Game Pass subscriptions, and all digital purchases are made by myself.

At the moment, in order for this to work, and me be able to share my subscriptions and games, the setup is as follows.

My XBox - set to NOT my home XBOX. My account is on this console. His is NOT

Sons XBox - set to my Home XBox - My account is on his XBox, but set to Lock it down. It is not signed in. His account it the only one used on this console.

If i leave my account on his console, and set my console to My Home XBox, he is unable to access the downloads, and subscriptions.

If our internet connection goes down (which it frequently does) my console becomes unusable. I am unable to play any games, including disc games, and it states that i need to own them. I am assuming that this is because the XBox thinks that his console is
the bill payers console.

The question i have is: Is there a way for me to share my subs and digital purchases with him, and have my console set as the home Xbox?

Note: we are both connected to the same wireless network, not sure if that is relevant, but i'll mention it anyway.

Xbox One home query

Hey guys been a while since posting on the forums. Recently made the upgrade to Xbox One and found it very useful with Gold home having 1 membership and accounts on the xbox shares it but my question is....

I created a new account on my Xbox One making it gold with Gold home but can I use gold services on Xbox 360 with my new account? Or is it only the gamertag with the active paying subscription can switch back and fourth on 360 to One to use online services
for both?

Unfortunately no. The only way to share your content is through the Home setting and you can only have 1 console set as your Home at a time. Your licenses are tied to your account, but they are also tied to that setting. So on a console without the Home,
your account has to be able to sign into Live in order to verify the subscription.

Can you review if the account you’re using in the Xbox app is the same as the one on the Microsoft store?

If the account on the store is different, try to sign out and sign in with the one on the Xbox app and check the Xbox app after that procedure.

In case you don’t have the Store pinned in the taskbar, just press the Windows key and type “Microsoft Store”.

HI Arturo,

I have just signed out of both apps and made sure I signed in with the same login credentials. there appeared to be no difference - I believe I was already signed in with the same logins on both apps.

This message doesn't always show by the way, it pops up every now and then. I don't know why?
