    I have set my 3rd home console switch to my friends account. When I did so I could download his games. I downloaded them. Then I played the games. After a couple minutes, my home console wasnt his. I could no longer play the games. It randomly did so. Has
    this happend to you?

    So would it be best to set her console to be my "home" console and set my console to be her "home" console? Will there be any problems with that method?

    Sorry to hear it. If he has switched his tag as Home somewhere else then that would remove the Home setting from your console.

    Hello kangielike,

    Here are a few solutions you can try before moving onto more course ones:

    1. Complete the steps and solutions on these pages and test your issue again. Power Cycling Xbox One
    2. If your issue persists try resetting your console while keeping your games and apps. Then, test your issue once again.
    3. Otherwise, if the issue persists hard reset your Xbox. Follow the steps on this page: Reset Xbox One Consoles
    If your issue still persists after trying these, you could get in contact with Xbox and they could run a diagnostic on your system and will definitely be able to resolve the issue.

    Sorry to hear it. If he has switched his tag as Home somewhere else then that would remove the Home setting from your console.

    Two other ideas to try:

    If you haven't accepted the terms of use in awhile, there was semi-recently a new one issued that caused some problems for people that didn't know to go and accept it again. So that's worth checking out.

    Also, you could try completely deleting/removing your account from the xbox (NOT the account itself obviously) and then redownloading it to the xbox. Just be careful to read prompts and such.

    (The latter will happen automatically as a consequence of a soft factory reset, so you may want to just go ahead and do that as already suggested - don't worry you won't lose anything as long as you follow prompts, do it offline (forget network), choose
    to keep my games & apps. it may delete local saves, but they're all on the cloud anyway so it will just sync when you boot games)
