Hitron: Port Forwarding

Hitron (Modems/Gateways): Port Forwarding
Hitron CGN2

Login Information:

Default Gateway – 192.168.1.1

Username – cusadmin

Password – login

Port Forwarding

Open a web browser.

Enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press enter.

Enter “cusadmin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.

Select Firewall.

Select Forwarding.

Click the add new button.

Enter a name that describes Xbox.

Select TCP/UDP from the protocol drop down.

Set both the Public Port Range and Private Port Range to 3074.

Click the Connected Computers button.

Select your Xbox console from the list of devices.

Click the Apply button.

Click the add new button.

Enter a name that describes Xbox.

Select UDP from the protocol drop down.

Set both the Public Port Range and Private Port Range to 3544.

Click the Connected Computers button.

Select your Xbox console from the list of devices.

Click the Apply button.

Click the Apply button.

Disable Port Forwarding

Open a web browser.

Enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press enter.

Enter “cusadmin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.

Select Firewall.

Select Forwarding.

Check the box next to any Xbox rules.

Click the Delete button.

Thanks for the quick reply. Go ahead and add all the ports you have listed those are the correct 7 ports that must be added when

port forwarding. After you're done adding the ports make sure to save the changes and then restart your router. When you're restarting the router also perform a

power cycle on your Xbox. (when doing this make sure to turn on the Xbox once the network is back up)

okay, i figured it out boys. ad i have a hitron as well! i changed my port on the xbox to the 50938, then went into the hitron and made the following port

NAME: XBL

TCP/UDP

Public PORT: 50938-50938

private port: 50938-50938

and im now open!

oh you might wanna make a dhcp reservation as well and tell it that you want the lease to last forever

Thank you for coming to the Forums with this question. It does not look like I was able to find your specific router while searching but I was able to find steps to different Hitron routers. It is possible that the steps might be similar between the routers.
Go ahead and click on the following link to the
Port Forward Site.

As far as the "Rules" you will be doing a new rule per port. You can always attempt to reach out to your Internet Service Provider for further assistance as they will know your device best.

I was not able to find your particular router but, I did find another Hiltron router. Hopefully this helps.

The following link will give you a guide as to how setup the port forwarding
HERE. Also, you can always contact customer support for assistance.

Hi I'm from Mexico I can fix the problem, I don't know if its a fix for all but it worked for me, I tried all the option that all posted, but nothing worked, this is what I did:

I just put a STATIC IP to my XBOX ONE and then I just did a "port forwarding" on several ports on my internet modem, in my case CABLEVISION with a HITRON modem, you can see the network ports used by Xbox Live here support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP y TCP)

Port 53 (UDP y TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)
