    Hitron: NAT type strict an upnp is unsuccessful


    Hitron (Modems/Gateways): NAT type strict an upnp is unsuccessful
    Not sure what links you have tried but if you haven't already tried this one give it a shot. UPnP not successful in your network settings

    If that doesn't work try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. While the console
    is off unplug your router for 3 to for minutes the plug the power cords back in let the router reset and then restart the console.

    Can't play multiplayer when I have redeemed free 14-day trial Xbox live code with my new Xbox one s

    also just to clarify my UpnP settings on my router are turned on, and I had adjusted it so the Xbox one s was saying my NAT type was open and that there was no problems with the UpnP but now it shows NAT as moderate and UpnP as unsuccessful. It tends to
    switch between those two ways.

    My networking knowledge isn't super extensive but if I understand correctly, bridging would only need to be done if there are multiple routers/modems running NAT on the same network. As I stated above I only have one router.
    Hello @namhel13 I have the exact same issue as you do. I mean exactly fixed wireles due to where I live, a POE connected to the cable that comes from the satellite on top of my house, and the a ethernet cable from POE to my netgear r7000 router and i always
    show a double NAT type. Ive done all the steps you had posted with forwarding ports, dmz, upnp which never says it works and i have no idea what to do been stuck here forever. Did you have any luck on find a solution to this problem? Any advice would greatly

    Thank you so much for respoonding. Ok i apoligize i guess i didnt see that part in your post about the public ip. Mam that really sucks. Like i said i habe fixed wireless at 15 down 5 up and i game a ton but lately i have had so much lag and disconnects
    its like why even keep trying. But then i have peiods where i have a decent ping and no lag whatsoever. What really sucks is i literally live about one mile drom people that can get fiber connection at 1000 down which i cant even imagine. I would be happy
    with 40 down and like 10 up. Ive been looking into elon musk starlink internet that foes into beta testing soon and am trying to get into that. From what they say it will off fiber lije speeds but the best will be the very very low latency tou will get due
    to the satellites being so close to earth which will be great. Beta testing starts in july i believe but ita hard to get picked im im s with qll the people trting ro be a parr of it. But 2021 it will offer service to most of the U.S. So that will be where
    i go for sure. Us i pay 75 a month for minr right now which is crazy. 75 dollars for 15 down 5up which i never get. Its usually like 13 down 3 up. Are you still using fixed wireless.?
