    My Xbox one x isn’t connecting to my modem. The brand is listed above but the model number isn’t. It’s the CGNM through sudden link.

    what is the model number of the hitron modem ? most hitrons are also routers (gateways) and that might be the problem....

    Hi Jason,

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. By looking at the category you choose it seems that your device is a Hitron CGN Modem/Gateway. Is this correct? if not what is your device you're using?

    If you are using the Hitron CGN Modem/Gateway here is a PDF manual that shows how to check the MAC address filters.

    I cant find info on that exact model but Hitrons have known disconnection issues....I would get a plain MODEM ONLY and a cheap netgear router.......you can try and reset the Hitron to factory defaults by pushing in the little button for 30 seconds....you
    could also try and put the Hitron in "bridge mode" which will make it a modem only and plug the xbox straight into it and test for disconnections....sometimes your isp has to enable "bridge" for you....

    Yes I am, the one I am using is Hitron CGNM-2250 modem/router I believe.
