Hitron: Hitron CODA-4582 Port Forwarding

what is the model number of the hitron modem ? most hitrons are also routers (gateways) and that might be the problem....

okay, i figured it out boys. ad i have a hitron as well! i changed my port on the xbox to the 50938, then went into the hitron and made the following port

NAME: XBL

TCP/UDP

Public PORT: 50938-50938

private port: 50938-50938

and im now open!

oh you might wanna make a dhcp reservation as well and tell it that you want the lease to last forever

Thanks for the quick reply. Go ahead and add all the ports you have listed those are the correct 7 ports that must be added when

port forwarding. After you're done adding the ports make sure to save the changes and then restart your router. When you're restarting the router also perform a

power cycle on your Xbox. (when doing this make sure to turn on the Xbox once the network is back up)

Thank you for coming to the Forums with this question. It does not look like I was able to find your specific router while searching but I was able to find steps to different Hitron routers. It is possible that the steps might be similar between the routers.
Go ahead and click on the following link to the
Port Forward Site.

As far as the "Rules" you will be doing a new rule per port. You can always attempt to reach out to your Internet Service Provider for further assistance as they will know your device best.

The Hitron is the primary router. My cable is connected to it for fast download speeds.
