    Hello, i bought xbox game pass just to play hitman trilogy, but everytime u tried to play it, ut gives me error code 0x8007042b and hitman 3 steam page is launched, I tried multiple fixes, but non of them worked, i tried restarting pc; reinstalling the game; installing hitman 3 demo from steam and launching hitman trilogy through xbox, but nothing works, evening reapiring xbox, steam and the game itself, nothing.

    Is this happening only with this game?
    Are you on Windows 10 or 11?

    Please let's try this first :

    Press Windows button and type Services

    On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

    Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

    IP Helper
    Xbox Live Auth Manager
    Xbox Live Game Save
    Xbox Live Networking Service
    Gaming Services

    And do this with each of the services listed above:

    Right-click over the service and select Properties.
    Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)
    If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

    Restart your PC

    I'll be waiting for your reply in case the above doesn't work

    Hitman 2 is part of the Hitman HD trilogy. Don't know if you can buy it separate but you can get the trilogy for about a tenner off Amazon.

    So yes. You can play Hitman 2 on 360.

    Amazon removed the listing, just like they did the Hitman HD Trilogy for xbox 360 and PS3, To be honest i will be getting the Hitman HD Trilogy before this map pack.
