High latency

Hi everyone, i am getting really fed up of my internet at the moment, every time i get into a game my connection goes from 4 bars right down to red dot and lags all over the place, i did a multiplayer connection test and my latency is like 200, im wired
to the router so i dont know why its so high? Or what i can do to lower it. its ridiculous every game i join lags any help would be very much appreciated

I m experience a very high latency values and packet loss in Xbox Live.

after discuss with WOT support team they told me to contact my internet provider.

so here is the data

Details about my connection:

fibrer 130mb/s dn | 12mb/s up

163 ms latency (tested)

linksys AC1200 Xbox wired.

We have thoroughly examined the PingPlotter file you've sent to us, and our diagnostics indicate that you are experiencing packet loss and high latency that will cause your reported issue.

You can see this in the "162.213.60.77" file where almost all hops after the 13th have close to 90% packet loss. The latency during this time also jumps up in the 500ms+ range.

In file "eu5-slave-101.fe.core.pw", you can see there the packet loss happens 100% every hop. There is also a fair amount of latency.

In file "us4-slave-89.fe.core.pw", you can see there the packet loss happens at almost every hop. There is also a fair amount of latency.

To prevent further connection problems, we recommend you to contact your Internet Service Provider (Customer Service is the appropriate department in most cases) by any comfortable means of communication and ask them to inform you of any current technical
problems that may affect your connection.

Your Ping Plotter file may be used as proof of your case, and we recommend you to send this file to your ISP .

The hops that are showing 100% packet loss are configured to not reply to ICMP requests

And the vast majority of your latency is within Telia's network- who are contracted to peer by the devs.

Not aimed at you BTW, whilst VM do have issues in some areas, it takes me to the fair that "technical" support from the people who own the infrastructure the game servers sit on is so poor.

You are relatively fortunate in that your VM end looks fine- do you have issues with other sites/servers (in which case we can dig a bit deeper for you) or just these ones?

my question is , where is the problem and who can solve it.

i m the end client paying and getting not so good service.

 

High Latency

I'm surprised that no one else has commented on this. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here with this issue... Am I?

 

Latency o the console tests to seattle. Thats why it shows so high

 

Then why every game do i get red dot and lag all over the place no one else seems to get this issue?

 

what is your upload and download speed also any packet loss?

 

What game is it? What's your internet download speed and who is the provider?
