High cost for Xbox One Insider repair, what could I do?

Could be something broken inside the trigger. You will need to repair him, if you have warranty active I suggest to send it to repair with no costs, but if the warranty expired you will need to pay for the repair. Okay thanks, any idea on what the repair cost could be?

It makes a Sound as if it wants to begin Spinning but stops very soon and I get the message open tray. That´s exactly what is worrying me. Seems as if the motor is defect. I read the the costs of repairing are quite high 90 Euro plus tax. My XBox is 5 years
old. I´m afraid the next repair is not far away.

You just reminded me of when I sent my Xbox One X to get repaired in the Germany repair centre a few years back and even though my console was still under warranty, they sent me a refurb back.

It wasn't hard to work out it was a refurb they had sent to me as the serial number on the sticker on the back of the console didn't match the the serial number in the console info in the console settings.

Standard practice.If it's quicker to send you a refurb then that's what they do if it's a in warranty repair.

Agree with the op,the cost of an out of warranty repair has always been way to high.
