Hiding Offline and Apps showing on Feed

Can anyone help?

Since the new update, I've noticed, even though I am hiding offline, (which I like to do when watching a film), when I'm using either Netflix, Lovefilm, or using an app like twitch, it is still showing up in the "feed" section of the xbox one dash. I'm sure
I'm just missing turning off an option somewhere, but I have no idea where.

Surely if I'm showing as "offline", it shouldn't be coming across on the activity feed?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Problem with a friend's online status!

I also starting noticing this on my account a few days ago. Several people on my friends list are now showing as "offline" even if they are on, not hiding offline or have been on recently. I signed onto another live profile on my same xbox and I was appearing
offline to the other account even though all my settings are open and i was not appearing offline.

As suggested I cleared my systems cache and also signed out/back in and it's not fixed.

 

Hiding and unhiding Games and Apps

Hello, I need to know how to unhide a game or app.

 

Hmm, I'm not 100% sure but I think you may see yourself on the feed but no one can see you on theres. Like I said, not sure but maybe worth checking with a friend sometime.

I also find that if you are playing a game, and then appear offline... That game just disappears from your recent activity so if anyone knows you as playing that game then they know you are appearing offline.

 

Ah good idea, will check with a friend to see if my activity is actually showing up on their feed when I hide offline. It just confused me when I saw my own activity appearing, as I'm sure it never used to do that before the recent update

 

Settings - Privacy - "Other people see what your watching" / BLOCK - "Let others see what game or app your using" BLOCK , there you go.
