Hi y'all. I got an update issue on my xbox 360.

It is on left 4 dead 2, and i've recently wiped the hard drive because i was planning to sell that xbox 360. But I didnt and decided to keep it. Now when i put in the left 4 dead 2 disc, it starts downloading an update, finishes through almost the whole bar, and then gives out the error with the status code being 4497 - 0000 - D080 - 0200 - 807B - 01F7.

nah i just followed some random dude on reddit and it worked lmao.

you do realize that this is for console software updates, and not xbox 360's game updates right

That ix groups of four digits errors are usually for thye console but yes, my bad

Can you try

settings> storage>go to the game > find the update cache file >delete that file >restart the xbox ,go back on the game andtry to update it again

Thanks Ellilion. Spoke to chat and totally got the same answer y'all have figured out.

Time Warner and Xbox 360 is having issues and they have engineers working on it right now. 30 min to a couple of hours was the answer I got from support.
