Hi what is the issue with the controllers disconnecting every 5 seconds

Did you notice this issue starting to occur after the last firmware update?

Microsoft is aware that the controllers have firmware issues and are already working on a solution, here you can see the announcement and a possible workaround.

most likely a router issue , if your wireless , try it wired ....or visa-versa.......what is the brand and model of your modem and router ?

Update: Same issue today, decided to stay offline today, disconnected from my wi-fi, turned off online mode, controller does not disconnect but 'freezes' every few minutes or so from 10-30 seconds with whatever the current button input was. Not sure if it's
related to the wi-fi/controller disconnect issue.

Because the NXE Update? I have also the Halo 5 Xbox One and the issue with random disconnects starts after the NXE Update on Nov 12. My old controller is working, my new halo controller isn't (disconnected every 30-45 min)

Hello - My controller has this odd issue with it, for whatever reason, it briefly disconnects for like half a second-5 seconds, and instantly re-connects to my console. This happens on it's own every second-5 seconds or so, and it used to do this
on and off, but recently it has been doing it non-stop since June 7th. I've tried purchasing a new controller, plugging it in to my console, swapping the batteries, reconnecting it to my console, checking if it is updated, yet nothing has worked. Is there
any fix to this? Thanks

I have the same problem think its a software problem as it started after an update
