How do I do this as on the companion app I can’t see anything from the Xbox? It says to sign in using the same account but I don’t know how to do that as it’s not mirroring?

Hello Gameplay(22), unfortunately you can't use your laptop/PC as a monitor, that's because its HDMI is an image output and not an input.

If you are trying to mirror the console on the PC, you can do it through its companion App, for that it is enough that they are on the same network and you will have to activate the remote reproduction.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features > Xbox app preferences.

Under Xbox app, select Allow connections from any device.

If we are counting all generations then we have 5, 1 original, 2 360's, and a original xbox one, and a xbox one x.

Right now i have 3 external HDD on my Xbox One X.

2 WD of 2 TB and 1 Seagate of 8 TB.

I use the Seagate for all the games that are Xbox One X enhanced the other for the games that are Xbox One regular games or Xbox 360 backwards compatible.

So i use the internal to the games the required a lot of data reading example RDR 2, HALO TMCC, etc.
