Hi, we are signed up for the Microsoft rewards but there is another sign up for xbox rewards

Hi, we did not know that there are 2 award signups to get points. We are signed up for Microsoft Store awards and we did not realize we also have to sign up for the xbox awards, even though when we purchase on xbox we are buying from the Microsoft store.
Can we get credit for previous purchases, and should we cancel a recent large purchase and reorder to get the credit? It does not seem right that Microsoft has 2 award signups. Can you provide courtesy points for the previous purchases?

Have to be signed up for xbox rewards. Just go sign up, doesn't cost anything so it's only a bonus

Rewards for buying Fifa points

hi all I've recently signed up for Xbox live rewards I'm just wondering do we earn points on rewards from buying Fifa points with Microsoft points? As this is how it was years ago thanks

Unfortunately the Xbox Rewards program does not award credits for anything done before joining.

Unfortunately, only purchases made while being a Rewards member are eligible for Rewards. From the FAQ:

I've had an Xbox Live account for years. Can I earn Rewards Credits for transactions made prior to signing up for Xbox Live Rewards?

You can only earn Rewards Credits once you're an Xbox Live Rewards member. Once your membership is complete, we'll begin tracking your activity and rewarding you for things like completing missions or tracking your MyVIP progress by making purchases in the
Xbox Store. For full details on the Rewards available, please see the Terms and Conditions.

You get the free month for signing up to the Microsoft Rewards program, not the Xbox Rewards Program. If you signed up for the Microsoft Rewards program and did not receive the pass, you'll need to contact their customer support
via their redemption page.
