Follow these steps and try again.

Erase the host's MAC and reboot the Internet device. Network Settings > Advanced Settings > MAC Address and Delete.

If the problem persists, perform a factory reset on the console. You won't lose anything, but you'll need to log into your account again. Email and password required.

Follow this route and select Reset, keeping your games and apps. After 5 to 10 minutes, you will finish reconfiguring your console.

Restart the console >
Settings > System > Control Panel Information > Reset Control Panel

Hi there - so I figured out how to download the Minecraft for windows game - I've installed it under my 'admin' account on the laptop - and I need to give access so my son can play the game under his account. Can you tell me the path to the exe file so I can copy it into his profile so he can play it. Or what's the best way to do this.

I thought I could just log into my microsoft store account when logged in under my son's user account but when I try to log into the microsoft store it asks for my pin which I type in but says it's incorrect. When I log back in under my user account on the laptop and log into my microsoft store account my pin works. So this is really weird.

Can you help me.

There should be an option to sign into his Microsoft Account in the Minecraft Game.

Without being signed in on his Microsoft Account in Minecraft, the game can't apply the online and privacy settings you set up in order to allow him to play online.

If he's only playing locally on his own device, he can play without a Microsoft Account. But in order to play online on Realms or Servers, he needs to be signed in on this very device in the Minecraft Game.

I am logged into my son's laptop with my son's Microsoft account. I opened the Microsoft Store app, and on the top right side it displays his icon, indicating we are signed in under his account profile. How do I log out of the Microsoft Store, and log in to the store again with my account?

The Microsoft account that purchased Minecraft has to be logged into Microsoft Store app through that same Microsoft account on the same computer that my son is using or simply though the Microsoft account on any computer?

Separately, presumably we can have both Minecraft Bedrock and Java on the same computer?
