Hi, new to Xbox one looking for suggestions and advice

I will be picking up my Xbox one next week and I am looking for gaming suggestions.

But before you do let me explain my situation, I am a long term pc gamer so will only be looking for exclusives on the console my favourite game on the 360 was crackdown.

I dislike first person shooters on consoles simply because I prefer to play with mouse and keyboard (Master Chief collection is an option if I can find a way to control it with mouse and keyboard).

Items already on my buy list

Forza Horizons 2, Sunset overdriver and Master chief collection (with the above conditional)

I am looking into the Crono Max s I believe it is which will allow me to use my pc racing wheel and hopefully keyboard and mouse.

Some may think I am crazy for wanting to do mouse and keyboard with the Xbox one but I played Black on the original Xbox with mouse and keyboard and it was great.

I will be hooking the console into a two way hdmi splitter (amplified) one cable going to our main tv to play stuff using the game pad like sunset and the other going to my pc 27" monitor which my driving wheel sits in front of. (creative use of usb switches
will be fun).

Any advice on weirdness and exclusives and thoughts on my crazy idea are welcome.

New to Xbox. Looking for friends and suggestions

Feel free to add me if you like. I'm fairly new to Xbox as well, and am loving it. Also coming from a PS3 (which I still have, but don't play as often), and my friend list is awfully bare. Lol

I just completed the Master Chief collection, never really tried console fps before this simply because 25 years of mouse and keyboard, so yes I hooked up my gaming mouse and keyboard and played through them all.

Love the Halo story and looking forward to number 5, can not really compare pc fps to console but I do now rate Halo series as favourite.

IF they do a remake of GW for Xbox one I will buy it in a second.

Anything I find on google just shows drives/advice for the 360, not the original Xbox. A lot of people just suggest buy a new one.

Hi Marky. An advice? You've just bought it? It's drifting? Replace it. Look to your customer or with the Xbox support to ask for a refund or for a new controller.

Hi there,

There are many owners of Xbox One X consoles, that do not run into the issues you are mentioning here. My best advice, would be to start the service order, and see what happens when your console is inspected. Maybe Phil Spencer/Microsoft can look to work
towards extending warranties in the near future - completely understand that point.. :/

As there are new console iterations in the works, I wouldn't be surprised if that suggestion wasn't on the table already.
