Based on the description, you are having issue with data corruption with the game Call of Duty and uninstalling and reinstalling the game did not help resolve the problem. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

If we may ask, what is the edition of game you are having issue with?

1. Disable background downloads

- The error you're experiencing usually occurs when background downloads are paused and the console is turned off later.

- Disable the download in background and also disable the instant start of the console.

- Download the game basically with the console on and in one go.

2. Reset your console

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System.

- Select Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

I downloaded the gold game of the month Call of duty and I can't play it. It says its corrupted. What should I do to fix it???

I really don't see Treyarch's version of Call of Duty losing steam anytime soon, IW on the other hand I see people starting to smarten up and just avoid their version of Call of Duty. I've played every Call of Duty since 2 I think and gotta say MW3 was the
1st one I couldn't get myself to play, it sucked on so many levels to me.

thanks guys, shall i report him/her for the messages then block him/her? my 11 year old son loves playing online but i have to limit his playtime because he too has had abusive messages one saying he was a *** because he hasnt got call of duty, the reason
he hasnt got it is because the game is rated 18 in the uk, im very firm on this i dont believe that children should play games that are not for their age, ive been on call of duty when children are playing and my horror is their language im not saying people
are bad parent because they let them play games like gears and cod i just dont agree with it and that is just a personal opinion
