i just check if my controller need updating that unfortunately that's not the problem

i don't have any other controller to test if it is the controller or not

i have reached out to Nintendo to see if they can help i haven't a reply yet

Try checking if the controller needs an update on your PC.

If your controller is already updated and the issue is the same, try using a different controller just to isolate where the problem is coming from. Since your controller works on other devices, this might be an issue with the switch. Please also try reaching out with their support.

While the good news is that it is possible to use an Xbox controller on your Nintendo Switch, the bad news is you need an adaptor.

You also need a Bluetooth Controller. Hard wired third party Xbox controllers won't work.
