Hi, i seem to be having problems game sharing with my son.

in order to have your son play the games you own on your account on his console, you will have to set his console as your Home console, keep in mind that you can only set 1 console as Home console at a time and that the number of times you can change the home console is limited. After your sons console is set to Your home console he should be able to play the games you own on your account, you should also be able to play your games on any other console, just as long as there is a connection to the internet.

I had the same problem and fixed it. I have 2 sons in my family sharing group and had added a payment card to each of their accounts. The problem seemed to start after doing that and today I spent 2 hours trying to work out why my son can't buy vbucks in Fortnite even though he had enough money in his account.

The fix was to log into each of their Microsoft account accounts using their login credentials (you can't do it through family sharing due to the error) and remove the payment cards. Once I had done that the spending page in fmily sharing works again and my son was able to use the oney in his account to purchase vbucks.

Did you get this sorted? I am having the same problem. I game share with my son but games i'm installing aren't showing up in the full library so he can't install and play them.

My son thought it was an add on but it is through his forza horizon 4 game. But looks like the version you shared but for the UK. Can't seem to add a specific amount to a gift card either!

So assume im an idiot!

So My son should sign into my daughters xbox, using his account details and set her xbox as his home xbox. Then my daughter should sign into my sons xbox using her account details, and set his xbox as her home xbox. And i should buy the game on my sons
account and they can share?

My next question is , as you only get 5 resets a year of your home account. Does this mean my son will lose access to the games he shares already, that are on my account? So he’d have to switch back to share with me again?
