    hi i have got a problem regarding instalment of a disc based game


    to describe my problem. i am trying to install a game but the install progress comes to a halt and stopps completley at around 2% i have tried the steps suggested by the regular support page and it changed nothing

    the error message displayed tells me to clean or change my disc i only have one disc and i have cleaned it multiple times there are no visible cracks or dirt on the disc itself

    finall detail. i have tried reinstalling the game a couple of times and everytime the amount in % that installs before stopping becomes smaller gradually

    any help is greatly appreciated

    You could try the steps listed at the link below

    support.xbox.com/.../manage-microsoft-account

    However, if it requires a password you will be stuck and will have to create a whole new account. Preferably with a legitimate email address.

    Two years ago when I made my account, I used a made-up email address. I had planed to use that account temporarily, but it turned out to be my main account. The last couple of weeks i'm getting messages asking me to give my email address and password, the
    problem: I forgot the password and cannot ask for a new one because the email does not exist. Now my question, is it possible to change the email of you XBOX Live account? Please help! Thanks

    It works with disc based games too, as long as they're in the tray. You still have to install the disc based games.

    I have approximately 27GB left and I have to install "Wolfenstein".

    This needs sorting ASAP.

    Right on, happy to hear you got it installed. This usually varies per game but if the Xbox 360 game you're installing is multiple discs, you can use the 2nd disc (or the DLC disc) to install the base game as well as the DLC content. :)
