Hi, I have activated my 12 months gold account successfull but it doesn' work on my xbox one,

Hi, i tried to activate the 12 months, it didn't work so i activated my 1 month of Ultimate which worked perfectly fine. My account has Ultimate until January but no xbox live gold.

I purchased and activated a 12 month gold memebership yesterday. However, my account still says "Free Member", but the expiration date is ok.

My XBOX Dashboard is still recommending Gold. I can't join online games or start a party.

I have an e-mail that confirms the activation, yet, it still doesn't work.

I have done everything I can to download it but it just doesn"t work. My gold membership is on my nephew account (he is not 18). And it would not let me download. It ask to buy it on xbox one , but that also doesn"t work. I don"t have a xbox360 .What options
are their left?

you told, that you have activated a 12 month gold membership. Have you activated it with the same account, you are logged in here? Your account here seems to be silver only. Did you use your account logged in here for playing on the Xbox One?

If not and you have already activated your gold membership on this account and you are using it on your Xbox One, please contact directly the support.

Here is the breakdown of how conversion works. We will use 1 months ultimate as an example.

If you have ultimate active for 1 month for example:

If you add 12 months of gold while ultimate is active, the conversion is:

12 months gold = 4 months ultimate

so 4 months ultimate + 1 prior month ultimate = 5 months ultimate

If you have only 12 months gold active:

Then if you add 1 month ultimate, the conversion is:

12 months gold = 12 months ultimate

12 months ultimate + 1 month ultimate = 13 months ultimate.

Do you understand? If you want a better conversion rate, then you need gold first and then add 1 month ultimate to make everything else ultimate but if you add gold later, it gives you less months.
