When you start your Xbox One does it sound like the fans come on immediately or do they start spinning once you have used the hairdryer (i assume it is set on cool) ?

Is an odd one but you could be looking at a possible hardware fault and may need to consider either making a claim under warranty (if applicable) or requesting a service via the Device

When you say you use a hair dryer, in what context, as in a cooling solution? if so you could have a hardware issue requiring you to get in touch with the Device service
and replacement service to book either a service/ repair under warranty. If you are out of warranty, you will likely be charged for this service.

using the hairdryer on top on medium heat i not sure but i think it might be the fan as it wont turn on at all unless i use the a hairdryer or something for the top holes

@Microsoft Xbox, any reason this would fix the problem? I've had to do it 4 times already... now i just leave my xbox on always to avoid the hairdryer.
