    What specific model # of monitor do you have? Some monitors only do 144hz over display port for instance but possibly only 60hz over hdmi.

    I have the same problem i just bought a new monitor with 144hz and bought a cabel with DisplayPort to HDMI and i dont get any picture, does Xbox One support DisplayPort?

    Understood and TY very much. Gift for grandson, he wants the s due to space so I was looking to buy a monitor also. 144hz, 1ms, HDR and I wasn't sure if the 2.1 on xbox s and 2.0 on most monitors would be sufficient or just buy a monitor with 2.1 hdmi.
