Hi how can i fix the error of ban console 0x80a40020?

I understand you need help with your console problem.

If you just recently purchased your console, this means that the previous owner had this console already banned and sadly, if the console is being banned permanently, this cannot be played online. I would suggest to have this returned instead since you cannot do anything about this anymore once the console is banned

I've read on enforcement and been told by support that they do unban consoles depending on the situation.

The police here will not do anything here. ...So i will stuck with the console .

Could Microsoft tell me what the reason of the banned ?

And i can see there still warranty left to end of 2023 could i got help with that ?

And

Maybe if its stolen, i can return it to the owner and someone could be happy by getting his console back ?

Hello sad to say I've never ever heard of a console being unbanned. Maybe a person was banned and they appeal and thier personal ban was removed. Never ever a console ban though. Thats serious business when a console get banned! Nobody on support can say
if a console/person will be banned or unbanned. Thats all through the enforcement page and thats the ONLY place that handles it.As stated also thats the risk you run into buying used things people arent honest at times and now this person was sold a paperweight!!
Me being me I would go right back to them and DEMAND my money back!!!!! Sorry this happened to you ;/

nope, that is false, the only time they would do that is if they banned it by mistake and that is extremely rare, support dont have a clue.
