    Hey! Steam GTA IV: Unable to access live.


    Hey, I'm in need of some assistance. I know other people have this error - but I don't think mine is usual. I'm not able to go on multiplayer or click on live in-game. I have the GFWL client, and everything I need. Help? Hey! Steam GTA IV: Unable to access live. :)

    Cannot activate GTA IV EFLC

    I have got GTA IV + GTA IV EFLC as a present in Steam. I successfuly activated GTA IV. Now I'm trying to activate EFLC. When I try to activate code in game through Games for Windows - Live it says that there's an error in GFWL client. The same thing happens
    when I try to activate code through website.

    I updated GFWL yesterday and checked the integrity of game cache in Steam

    Games for windows live!

    I bought GTA IV off steam, it won't work because I need to run it through Games for windows live or Microsoft will feel left out. I have tried everything but Games for windows live does not even recognise that I have GTA IV. Is it just being spiteful? Is
    there a way to completely cut out the games for windows live requirements altogether?

    Make sure you have the latest version of GFWL installed - not the version that's bundled with the game. The Steam versions are older and have issues (especially with Windows 10), and the client doesn't check to see if there's an updated version before installing.
