    Hey people my sandisk Usb thumb drive is not showing up in the storage devices section, thanks


    I was trying to use my SanDisk USB thumb drive to record gameplay footage and it is not showing up in the storage devices section (it flashes up for half a second but it disappears) so it is only showing up as 'media' (btw I have formatted it to NFTS its 128GB and USB 3.0) any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    Omg thanks so much, i thought it wouldn't work at first but I plugged and unplugged it about 10 times Although it felt illegal it worked Thanks so much!

    Hello, Have you tried unplugging flash drive while console is on and booted up. Then replug and see if it recognizes it??? I have to do this daily with my harddrive that is attached.

    I'm so happy I was able to help you. Its a hassle but it works every time. I boot my system then unplug hard drive and plug back in. Not sure why Xbox functions that way. I wonder since its not their product it acts like that.

    + I have two USB thumb drives, when I plug these into the front USB ports, the lights flash on the drive and they show up in the storage devices listing; however, neither drive (one is 32GB the other is 2GB) lights up nor is recognized as storage
    devices.

    The Flash Drive I spoke of is a USB Storage Device! I moved all but a few games to it and freed up enough memory on the internal drive for the game specifications but it still is not loading. I do not have an external hard drive, only the internal that came
    with it and 2 16G USB Flash Drives (Thumb Drive or USB mass Storage device, whatever you call them)
