With regards to your issue, if he is added on your Microsoft family page then there may still be a way for us to find what is the email address used on the account.

Please try going to this page https://outlook.live.com/people you will see there a "Favorites" folder and once you clicked it you will see "Family" category there. Depending on the interface, you will see the list of group members on the right pane of the page find his name and click on it.

Now it should show there his details such as the email address. I hope this works for you.

I have this same problem as stated in the forum but the problem is that this situation is occurring because of the split off of family packs to individuals. Since my account as the parent is linked to the original family pack email, I (nor he) ever set up
an email account specifically for this child's account. When I went searching I got to this link:

support.xbox.com/.../forgot-childs-microsoft-account

That is basically a 404 error page now. I have no idea how to find this info at all.

Unfortunately, with the prepaid card, it's basically impossible to find the account of your son.

Does your son have so many e-mail addresses that he can't remember which one he used? He might try to find the email address used for his Microsoft Account with this support page: Forgot

After he found the Email, he can reset/recover his password here: https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx

After signing in with his email, his Gamertag account will automatically show up on his console.

Inborder to use parental settings, he would need a child account. Since he's on an adult account, it cannot be converted to a child account even if you changed the email. You would have to create a new child account for him and he would have to start over.

I have the same question. I want my son to login to Xbox with his email so I can put limits on how long he plays. He currently uses my hotmail account to login. He doesn't want to lose his Fortnite progress, so he continues to login with my email.

His email is set up as a child account under my account. When he logs in, he doesn't have access to xbox live either. I would think it would carry over since it's all under the same parent account.

Is it possible to transfer everything to a child's email account?
