    Here’s why I believe the Xbox Series X should have the “Red Ring of Death.”


    From a technological perspective, the Xbox Series X is partially superior to the likes of the PlayStation 5 due to the XSX’s overall performance and ability to play up to three generations worth of backwards compatible titles, including the game pass subscription based service. As a playstation fan, I am worried. Moreover, the issue I have with the XSX is that it’s hardware is capable of outperforming the PS5 in many respects, which I find to be both unfair and disrespectful to the legacy and brilliance of the Playstation brand. To circumvent any unfair advantages, and to keep playstation alive in Japan and beyond, the XSX should have the RROD implemented to dissuade a fair amount of players from buying the XSX in order to achieve equal, and fair results. This does not mean XBOX should rig it to fail, but rather, make it easier for the consumer to weigh the pros and cons. Despite the controversial stance I’m making here, I wish nothing but the best for these two generation nine consoles, and I hope that you can understand where I am coming from as a consumer.

    same here microsoft and other companies have been **** people for years i remember buying an xbox having it red ring and pay 150 to get it fixed then they announced free repairs but no refunds for the red ring of death
