Hello Strivexwolf, I don't know if you've tried any procedure on your console, if you haven't tried it, follow the procedure below.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Currently HDR10+ is not announced for the Series X.

This proves that the receiver, cable, and TV support and are working for 4K HDR10. As I said, I worked through all of the Xbox detection and settings before asking for help. That covers the second part of your script response.

Is there anyone we can turn to to help find the real cause? Maybe there is (now) something wrong with the Xbox implementation of 4K HDR? After all, Xbox does not support HDMI-CEC - how basic is that?

Hi Francia, here is what monitor I'm using. LG 32" UltraGear QHD 2560x1440p 165hz HDR10 monitor with free sync.

I just purchased it at the beginning of November when I got my series x.
