Help_needed_933, Customer Service, and agents cannot provide account information. You must attempt to recover your account using the only method available to Microsoft.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ Once there, they must click on the circle in the upper right corner of the screen. Then click login.

If as a user you do not have any of the recovery options connected to your account, you should click on the selection that says "I do not have any of these". When you click on that link, they will be sent to a Microsoft form. You must complete it, including all pertinent information, and Microsoft will contact you and try to help them recover to regain access to your account.

If the user has forgotten their login information, they should go to login. Choose your login options. This will ask you to enter an alternate email address associated with the account or a phone number.

If the user does not have another linked account to help provide account access, it is recommended to create another account. Once they create the account, they must use the new account to log in and select "forgotten password". By choosing the option "I forgot my password", you will be sent the link to the form https://account.live.com/acsr mentioned above. completed the form Microsoft will contact you.

Make sure the security proofs are updated on account.live.com. The password and email may not be incorrect, but will show up as such if the proofs aren't updated. Try updating the proofs then redownloading the profile.
