    Hi there are you experiencing the "Installation Stopped" message or have gotten it before on Xbox One in regards to a Backwards Compatible Title?

    Well rest assured your not alone and I may have a viable solution to your issue.

    Here is what you should do:

    1. Try to power cycle your console.

    You can do this by holding the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds till the light on your power supply turns orange then reboot your console and try again.

    2. Test your network connection.

    To do this you can use methods such as Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test or go to settings > Network > Network Settings > Detailed Network Statistics. If it comes back with issues then try rebooting your modem/router.

    3. Make sure your ports are open to have adequate access to Xbox Live.

    If you have already done that then proceed to step 5 if still having issues.

    5. Uninstall all of the games/DLC's that failed to install and reinstall them.

    That's right, the last update was November 2007 and Robotech: Battlecry was the only one to be included in the BC list.

    Yes, all backwards compatible titles work on any version of Xbox One. What error message are you getting? And are these digital copies, or are these disc based? Can you describe a bit more of what is happening around your install/error when trying to
    play these backwards compatible games?

    Hello Ramswellszone,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are trying to play a game. Which device are you trying to play the title on? If you are on an Xbox one the game is not backward compatible. Here

    is a list     of all backward compatible titles. Currently there is no way of asking for titles as they put backward compatibility on hold as they are working on The Scarlett.

    If you are on the Xbox 360, not sure why you would be getting the message. Can you please provide the complete error message.

    Hello,

    Bioshock Infinite is not currently backwards compatible. It is confirmed as coming in future, but it is not currently on the list of 104 backwards compatible titles. This would be why it's not showing up on your Xbox One.

    As soon as it's added to the backwards compatibility titles, the game will show up as Ready to Install on your Xbox One.

    Oddworld:Strangers Wrath isn't compatible with the 360 unfortunately, if by upgrade you mean update then there isn't one as microsoft has stopped adding titles to the backward compatibility list.
