    I am new to this whole xbox live thing, and I'm wondering is there anything special you have to do to go on xbox live? do you typically have to beat story mode to get onto xbox live? Just newbie needing help.

    Hey Esther

    I am not sure I understand your question. Campaign mode can be played offline. However multiplayer requires an active Xbox Live subscription in order to experience the true fun of Xbox. Do you have a subscription? If not you can buy one through the console
    or online here Xbox Live | Xbox.

    yeah i have and it works for about 30 seconds then it comes up with disc unreadable, it also still skips from 80% to 100%

    you can try to recover your gamertag. if you have a possibility try to download the game into a different storage drive (usb disc for example).
