HELP!!!

Hello minecraftians...

I am in need of help, well not me but my 9 year old, she is the player...anyway...she is an addicted minecraftian and keeps asking me all these things that I havent got the answer to, so I am calling for your help in educating me.

1. She has minecraft on xbox 360 and also on her laptop. Apparently (plz do correct me if I am wrong) you can connect some sort of cable from laptop to xbox...to do what I dont know, so I was hoping someone may tell me.

2. She keeps asking me for a memory stick...again something to do with getting something from the laptop onto the xbox...is this even possible? Please someone help and explain if any of this is true and what is the purpose of it.

Back in my day we played outside, climbing trees and stuff....was so much easier lol.

It's a WD My Book 4 TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive with Backup. Yes a have a media player app installed on my Xbox. No i have not formatted to my computer.

 

1. You can connect an Ethernet Cable to your Xbox and to your laptop.. but there really isn't a point. And you can't do anything with Minecraft on it.

2. It's possible but you would need a program on your pc to change the format.. blah blah. Its considered modding and its not allowed.

Really no reason unless she's actually trying to get mods. You can download mods via usb to your xbox. The cable connection from laptop to xbox has been used to download user created maps via original or copied maps imported to laptops then usb then xbox.
Never seen it done but heard about it tons of times.

 

You can not transfer anything that is from the PC version of MineCraft to the xbox version. Connecting a ether net cable to the Xbox from the Laptop will not enable you to transfer anything into the game, you may be able to transfer some types of memory
data, depending on what it is. A program is available however that can change formats of the game to enable you to play the game on either system, but using such programs is not allowed and is considered modding, which is against the Xbox Live Code of Conduct
that everyone must Accept when they start their membership.

 

you cannot connect Minecraft from PC to console because the console version is outdated.however there is a USB both ended cable that can run you up a lot of money and allows file sharing. also there are some mod programs that "melts" worlds to make them
work on console edition but that goes against the TOS agreement that you agree with when you sign up for Xbox live.
