HELP!!! Xbox one controller

I am gonna loose my mind!!! I bought a new xbox one controller to use on my pc. I cant register the controller on the microsoft website. device not even 30 days old. Right joysitck faulty. I have done a reset and calibrate on pc and still not working.
Takealot tells me I cant return through them., It must go via microsoft. WHAT MUST I DO?????????????

if you can't set up a repair via the microsoft website, then it's best to contact Xbox Support to set up a replacement/repair.

To contact Xbox Support use the Phone or Support Chat options at
http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

They should be able to help you set up a repair/replacement too.

If you bought it from a reputable retailer, most have a 30 to 45 day return policy (Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc.) I would go back to where you purchased it from and let them know it's defective. If you do have to have Microsoft replace it, and
it won't let you register it, your best bet is to contact support to have them register it for you. They may need a copy of your receipt/proof of purchase in order to register it.

 

Thank you, I have decided to not get it replaced but just return it. That they have accepted. So I will go ahead and just purchase a new controller once I get refunded. Thank you
